Welcome to 1239 First Street, New Orleans ... This is the home of Lasher and his thirteen witches. The Talamasca followed the lives of the "Mayfair Witches" from 1659 to 1989 and beyond. "The Witching Hour", "Lasher" and "Taltos" make up what is warmly and lovingly known as, "The Mayfair Witches" by Anne Rice. It all started with "Suzanne of the Mayfair", a great midwife, famous for her healing powers. She was a simple, dim-witted girl that knew not what she was doing when she called up the spirit, Lasher.

This is the new look and *fingers crossed* all links and pages are properly loading and linked. Please, if you come across anything broken, let me know! This site is here for fans and anyone looking for Witches or Anne Rice information, so it needs to work for YOU! Promise that no offence is taken when I'm informed of broken links and pages, hugely appreciated :) For now, this site is complete, at least until I start to play with my sanity and do something like character profiles.
