This is the home of Lasher and his thirteen witches. The Talamasca followed the lives of the "Mayfair Witches" from 1659 to 1989 and beyond. "The Witching Hour", "Lasher" and "Taltos" make up what is warmly and lovingly known as, "The Mayfair Witches" by Anne Rice. It all started with "Suzanne of the Mayfair", a great midwife, famous for her healing powers. She was a simple, dim-witted girl that knew not what she was doing when she called up the spirit, Lasher.

Within the Mayfair Witches, there are many conflicting tales and points of view. The reason for this is because of the following reasons: Talamasca records - Family History Knowledge - Assumed Knowledge. These three conflicting views give differing results, depending on whose point of view you are reading from and depending sometimes which novel you are reading from. |
