reviews on the vampire chronicles novels
Long ago I was asked to review "Pandora" which is the first of two novellas, or "Tales Of The Vampire Chronicles", done by Anne Rice. There was a rumoured 12 to be written, but as it happens, life changed for Anne Rice and only two were written, but very well written.
I'd love to say I would review more of the novels, but it is slow and time consuming and I never get around to it, but I would happily post a review here if anyone felt the desire to review one of the Vampire Chronicles themselves.
This is exactly what Rebecca did long ago. She reviewed the first five novels and sent it through to me with permission to post it on the site and here it remains. So if you want to do the same, feel free to email it through me and I'll place it here.
Just remember that the reviews here are the points of view of the reviewers, so it doesn't mean they are right or wrong, just how the reviewer perceives each novel. If you disagree with a review done, write your own! The only rule to writing reviews is that I won't post any blatant attacks on any of the novels (trust me, I don't love them all and I just might review the last two novels one day, not my favourites and I have strong views) but please make sure any critisms are construction and perhaps an explanation to back up your thoughts.
